 Robyn's done her best to get over Nick, so when Beej shows up and says he needs her help, Robyn refuses. At first. But hoping for some clue as to why he left her, Robyn can't help herself. It turns out Nick's been arrested and the evidence is stacked against him.
 Robyn has a hard time believing that Nick would steal from a friend, but she doesn't know or understand. She decides to look into the theft, and finds herself in grave danger. If she can't figure out what's going on soon, then her troubled feelings for Nick will be the least of her worries...

Eu não sou do tipo de leitora que gosta apenas de um gênero literário. Eu simplesmente gosto de livros, então quando ganhei este livro não tive problema algum com o fato de ser um livro policial. Aliás, foi meu primeiro.
Robyn é uma boa garota. Segue a vida comum, como todos. Escola, depois faculdade, trabalho. A única vez em que saiu do "ritmo" foi quado namorou Nick.
Nick é, podemos assim dizer, um "Bad Boy" que já se envolveu em muitos problemas, e alguns deles com a polícia. Ele estava tentando se reorganizar, ter uma vida direita ao lado de Robyn, quando teve que deixá-la.

O livro começa a se tornar uma verdadeira investigação quando Robyn recebe um DVD de Beej, amiga de Nick, dizendo que ele estava sendo acusado, talvez injustamente, de roubo.
Todo o mistério e as tentativas de descobrir se o Nick era ou não inocente.

"And since the cops found him with stolen property and the crowbar that was used to pry open the side door, I bet you anything that lawyer is going to push him to plead guilty."

A Norah escreve de uma maneira que nos transporta para dentro da história, deixando-nos tão aflitos quanto os personagens. Quem será que roubou as moedas? Poderia ter sido Nick? Mas ele gosta tanto do Sr. Schuster. Ou será que foi o filho do Sr. Schuster? Ele tem bastante dívidas para quitar...

"I was attacked two blocks from here, right after I left this house on Friday," I said focusing on Elliot. "Whoever attacked me knew exactly where to find me. How do you suppose he could have known that? He wanted me to give a message to Nick. How did he even know that I knew Nick?

Se vocês gostam de um livro policial, este está super indicado. Eu amei. Espero que gostem também e descubram quem roubou as moedas do Sr. Schuster. Boa Leitura ;)
